Economic botany deals with application of botanical knowledge  to the well being of mankind. It includes  food of mankind to other necessities such as woods, fibers, drugs, tannins, dyes, paper, sugar, starch, gum, rubber, oils etc. This section is established aiming to investigate more economically plants, find out its maximum uses and  not only that  also document the economically important plants  used by different ethic groups.
